Simple Guide to Fishing

Before you go fishing you should consider how many times you will actually go during the entire year.

Step 1:

First of all you will need your fishing license. State of California Department of Fish and Wildlife prices are listed below

  • $51.02 for the Entire Year
  • $15.94 for a second rod
  • $5.66 for sport ocean enhancement

Step 2:

Research what specific kinds of fish are you interested in catching, in order to purchase the proper equipment and bait for the specific fish.

There are different forms of fishing such as:
  • Fly fishing
  •  Freshwater fishing
  • Saltwater fishing
  • Ice fishing
  • Shore fishing
  • Canoe fishing
  • Paddle board fishing
  • Rock fishing

 Step 3:

Purchase gently used spinning rod and reel at your local thrift stores, yard sales, and flee markets.

This will be the easiest way to begin fishing!

Purchase a 4-10lb  fishing line, small weights, and small hooks, nothing too fancy!

There are many types of fish baits that can be used, but the best bait that you will find is in your backyard, night crawlers or common earthworms.

Step 4:

After setting up. . . .

We go fishing!!

Relax. Be Patient. Enjoy. Catch them ALL

Before you notice, you will be hooked on fishing !
